At Ushindi Ministry, we are deeply committed to equipping missionaries for the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). We believe the Church has a vital role in spreading the Gospel to all corners of the earth, and it is our mission in collaboration with the churches to empower and prepare missionaries for this purpose.
Earlier this year, we launched a powerful missionary training program in Bunia. Believers from different churches gathered with one shared goal: to receive training and be sent as missionaries to areas where the Gospel remains unknown. This initiative has already begun to spark a transformation.

This training is a collaboration with local churches. Indeed, we believe the responsibility to spread the Good News belongs to the entire Church. As such, pastors from various denominations are joining forces to train these missionaries in spiritual maturity, evangelism, discipleship, and community engagement.

These missionaries will not stay in Bunia. Instead, we are preparing and empowering them to reach beyond the city’s borders. They will encourage and strengthen struggling churches in areas where faith is weak or absent. Their mission is to bring the light of Christ to communities that need hope and transformation. Ultimately, they will become beacons of hope, shining the love of Christ wherever they are sent.
Pastor Baraka Nyamutale, our Church Mobilization and Training Lead, leads this impactful program with a vision to see churches transformed and strengthened. Under his leadership, the program is already showing positive results. Hearts are being ignited, churches are uniting, and a powerful movement is beginning to take shape.
